Hyena Scat Analysis
Scat analysis can be very insightful in understanding dietary habits. Like in this case, it was especially helpful to take measures for hyena conservation.
We collected scat of different Striped Hyenas from various habitats around Pune. The scientific analysis of this collected scat helped us in understanding dietary habits of these nocturnal scavengers.
